Some may call us conservative one day, libertarian another, and maybe even liberal the next, but some basic things will always remain constant: our commitment to capitalism, the free market, innovation, state rights, the defeat of entitlements and big government, and most importantly the preservation of individualism over collectivism and freedom over tyranny.
During the rise of President Obama, we have seen a very talented politician lead us to Socialism; disguising welfare payments as tax cuts, proposing universal government run healthcare, and enacting the greatest run of government spending, deficits, and class warfare in the history of this country. We know that once we have fallen off the cliff into an entitlement based society we will never be able to climb back up. As Ronald Reagan once said,
“Government is not the solution to our problem. Government is the problem. Welfare’s purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.”
We hope that both republicans and democrats will soon realize that truer words have never been spoken by such a great man.
Our biggest problems with President Obama:
- This is a man whom has never had a real economic job, run a business, started a company, been an executive, or served in the military
- This is a man whom has outwardly declared war on investors and free market capitalism, because it is a system he has never been a part of nor which he fully understands
- This is a man whom looks at Europe and thinks “let me bring to America the kind of big government that has brought so many good things to the people here”- double digit unemployment, invisible business innovation, union shenanigans, and class warfare
- This is a man whom is a career politician from the most corrupt democratic political machine in the US, a man whom won a state senate seat in 1996 by throwing his opponents off the ballot, lost a senate race in 2000, and subsequently won a senate seat in 2004 after his opponent withdrew due to a democratic manufactured sex scandal
- This is a man whom vowed to bring bipartisanship to Washington but now has the most hyperpolitical administration since Nixon, run by a chief of staff whom could be mistaken for an Israeli mob boss
- This is a man that despite all this has been packaged by his handlers, the media, as some kind of messiah, a savior that has come to bring “hope” and “change” to a nation in despair.
But as students of history, we have seen through this charade from the beginning and wish for this blog to expose our President for what he truly is- another career bureaucrat and ideologue, and nothing more. It’s time for all Americans to take responsibility of their lives and realize that no leader, either Republican or Democrat, can solve their problems.
We promise to never hide behind the anonymous veil of this blog to engage in personal attacks like many in the blogosphere. This blog will stick to the issues and the events of the day. We respect Obama immensely as a person for what he has accomplished as a black man in this country. We wish the president well, because as an American his accomplishments are also ours, and we must rally behind him in times of peril. However, this doesn’t mean that we can’t disagree with him on many issues. That is what makes this nation so great.
